In our operation we have 3 brands of brooders. Our newest building has space ray run on a zone thermostat system- basically they all turn on/turn off at the same time. We use choretime ultra ray brooders in some areas which have individual thermostats on the brooders. These are capable of modulating, so they can have a high and low burn. We also have facilities with Sierra gamebird brooders, which come from England. These are capable of low and high burn achieved using a yolk system that controls the lp flow to the brooders. We use all propane brooders.
